Probation Period [HR-11]

The first three months of employment will be classed as your probationary period. During this time, your conduct and performance shall be monitored, if satisfactory, employment will be confirmed otherwise the Company reserves the right to terminate your employment or extend your probationary period for up to a further three months.

During your probation period, or extended probation period, the notice will be one week either side.

It is a matter for the Company's discretion whether or not you will be subject to the Company's disciplinary procedure during your probationary period or extended probation period.

In cases where references received are considered to be unsatisfactory, the Company reserves the right not to confirm your employment. Similarly, if you give false or misleading information on an application or in the interview, we reserve the right not to confirm your employment, or take disciplinary action, which may result in your dismissal, should your appointment have already been confirmed.

Upon the successful completion of a three-month probationary period, you will be informed via email and automatically enrolled into either The NEST Pension (the "Scheme") or such other scheme as may be set up by the Company to replace the Scheme. You will be notified by the Company in the event that you will not become an eligible job holder and the reasons why this is the case.
