ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
To be the link between the kitchen, floor and customer
The manager is here to ensure the smooth operation of each and every service. They will communicate with the host, kitchen, servers and floor support to ensure our service cycle is carried out in its entirety.
The manager will assist the host during busy periods ensuring that all guests are acknowledged on their arrival and departure (big hello and big goodbye)
The manager will ensure timings are met from servers, bar and kitchen. Spot when the floor team are falling behind in their sections and have the ability to pick them up.
You will be a calming influence under pressure and inspire the team to a perfect service. You will show leadership when others struggle and assist where needed to ensure we meet the requirements of the service cycle.
The key to managing a service is to 'be around the place'.
The manager will have full control of a service and ensure turn times are met in order for the host to carry out their duties.
Remember, treat the business like it's your own front room and strive to make each and every individual feel special.
MAXIMISE REVENUE. ENSURE THE TEAM ARE FOCUSSED, MAXIMISE UPSELLS AND MANAGE HUMAN ERROR.
