Updated: Jan 4, 2024

SOP Number: MAN-OPP-15

Department: Managers

Date Issued: 16 November 2023

As a business we set weekly targets to drive the business forward.

These are to be constantly checked and available to be seen on the board in the office as well as on the daily shift planner.

The target is there as a guide to what we should be achieving in sales for that period.

This is a crucial tool to driving the business as well as staff.

The board in the office should show:

  • Last years takings of that day

  • Target for the day

  • Actual sales

  • Difference between actual sales and last year (Last year - Actual)

  • The overall difference added up throughout the week (this could show as a minus or plus figure)

  • Percentage on last year: (Actual - Last Year ÷ Last Year) x 100

  • Overall takings

This needs to be completed each day for the whole week at the end of submitting your end of day.
